Sun., May 27: (After Liturgy) Panachida in memory of +Jeanette Bella. Requested by Cindi & Laney Ross.

Sat., June 2: (9:00 AM) Divine Liturgy for the 5’th All Souls’ Saturday. Antiphon “Bless the Lord, O my soul” on p. 8. Requiem Propers can be found on pp. 235-240. Additional Propers for the All Souls’ Saturdays can be found on p. 176. Followed by a Panachida and the Reading of the Diptychs of the Departed. Come and pray for your departed loved ones!

Sat., June 2: (6:00 PM) Great Vespers with Litija for the Sunday of Pentecost. Followed by Communion Prayers.

June 3: Sunday of Pentecost

8:15 AM: Matins.

10:00 AM: Divine Liturgy for the Sunday of Pentecost. Special Antiphons and all Propers as given on pp. 213-216. Kneeling Prayers will be said after the announcements. There will be Mirovanije (festive anointing) at the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy.

GRAVE BLESSINGS preceded by a Panachida and the Reading of the Diptychs of the Departed will take place at our parish cemetery TODAY, following the Coffee Hour. Other local graves will be blessed by request only.

MEMORIAL DAY SERVICES will be held at the Barton Memorial across from the Post Office at 10:00 AM tomorrow, Monday, May 28. Father Michael will serve a Panachida for the departed veterans at our parish cemetery on Monday, May 28 between 10:30 and 10:45 AM. Everyone is invited to attend both services.

OUR CHURCH will be decorated with green tree branches next Saturday afternoon, June 2, for Green Sunday — the Feast of Pentecost. Please call the rectory this week for more details if you would like to help.

THREE SPECIAL KNEELING PRAYERS will be said at the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy next Sunday, June 3, the Feast of Pentecost. After this, you may kneel once again in church and for your personal prayers. No kneeling until then!

FAMILY CAMP will be held at Camp Nazareth in Mercer, PA from Friday, June 8 through Sunday, June 10. More information is available on the table in the back of church. Registration forms and deposit are due by Monday, June 4, 2012.

CAMP NAZARETH ‘FAMILY DAY’ RAFFLE TICKETS are still available. Donation is $20.00. Top prize is $10,000 cash. Drawing will be held on Family Day at Camp Nazareth on Sunday, June 10, 2012. Please see Kim Hurley for tickets.

VACATION CHURCH SCHOOL. A sign up sheet will be posted on the bulletin board in the back of the church for the VCS 2012 program, entitled "Jesus' Awesome Adventure." The program will be held from Monday, June 11 through Thursday, June 14. The schedule for Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday will run from 9:00 AM – Noon. There will be an activity on Thursday, so the schedule that day will run from 9:00 AM til 1:00 PM.

CARPATHO-RUSSIAN DAY at Kennywood Park will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012. Everyone is invited to come for a great day of fun and fellowship! Funday Ride Tickets are $22.00, and Senior (55+) Funday Tickets are $12.00. More details and a sign-up sheet to order tickets can be found on the bulletin board.

THE ANNUAL DIOCESAN ALTAR BOY RETREAT will be held from Sunday, July 1 until Wednesday, July 4. All registration forms must be turned-in to Paul Foster by Sunday, June 10, 2012. The church is covering the cost of this retreat for any altar boy who attends.

CONGRATULATIONS and best wishes to Joel Brady, who has received his letter of acceptance to St. Tikhon’s Seminary. Joel will begin his studies in the fall. Many Years!

OUR FLEA MARKET last weekend was one of the best ever! The church made close to $1,000.00. Many thanks to all who donated items and to all those who helped!

CAMP FORMS. Camp Week for our Tri-State Deanery children is scheduled for Sunday, July 29 - Saturday, August 4, 2012. Camper Registration Forms are now available online or from Pan’i. Camp is now offering a $20 Early Bird Discount if campers register by June 15.

A PARISH CAMP OUTING is being planed at nearby Barkcamp State Park from Thursday, August 9 to Saturday, August 11. Thursday and Friday nights are sleepovers. Anyone can visit during the day. Please contact Kim Hurley ASAP for more information and to sign-up, since campsites must be reserved.

DEEPEST SYMPATHIES are extended to our brothers and sisters of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-USA on the falling-asleep in the Lord of their beloved Hierarch, +His Eminence, Metropolitan CONSTANTINE, this past Tuesday. He had celebrated his 40’th anniversary as a bishop just 2 days before his death. Funeral services were held in Pittsburgh on Saturday. Eternal Memory! Vičnaja Jemu Pamjat!
